Each of the characters has developed into a three dimensional person in his and her own right, especially Mimi. This is a girl on a mission, and nothing's going to stop her. Some of her choices are unsavory, and while I don't agree, I was there with her on her journey. Some other character choices are cringe inducing, but the story is so much fun I'm only cringing a little bit. Descriptions of places are fully detailed, sometimes too much. Some of the dialogue is over the top and could have been condensed. And while I don't agree with the "I would die without you!" mentality some of the characters have, this is definitely the best book in the series so far. Things happen with good reason. It's a shame it's so close to the end when it finally started to evolve.
