My Best Games of Chess: 1935-1957

Description

The Russian text of Izbrannie Partii published in 1952 contained 60 of grandmaster Smyslov's best games up to 1951. To produce an English edition of this work it was felt desirable to round it off by adding a selection of his games from the period 1952-1957 and at the same time to omit a few of the original games for the sake of balance. In fact I have left out 11 games and added a further 18 to bring the total to 67 in all.
