Description

It was the coldest winter the land had felt in years when Kade was born. The day after his birth he was abandoned in a deserted alley, and left to die. By chance a young monk was walking down the alley, found this baby and rushed him back to the temple. He was nourished back to health but there were some features that were unique with this young infant. For one, his skin was opalescent white, which was in direct contrast to his hair - coal black. Also, this small baby didn't respond to touch.



Kade survived and was raised by the entire monastery. Although never having a dominant parental figure in his life, he did have many people supporting his needs as he grew up. Kade's body has many tattoos, and it is believed that these tattoos were ritualistically placed on his body to help him survive his early ordeal. Kade also has the ability, or more correctly the inability, to feel pain. His nerves either were severed or were never attached.

Due to his mystical origins, Kade is virtually immortal and can rapidly heal from any wound. He has the mystical ability to sense evil, and can follow it to its source. A negative side-affect of his powers is that he cannot feel anything, painful or pleasurable. He cannot feel the sharp edge of a sword, nor a mother's gentle caress. It is believed that this has lead to his introverted personality, and his detached attitude towards his well being. Kade is very withdrawn and is not usually enthusiastic or excited about anything. However, if he feels anger, there is no gradual progression in intensity. He feels consumed with rage and is totally unrational. His inability to feel, accompanied with his intensity in battle has made Kade an opponent that few have survived.

Kade 1-5: Set during the Iron Age , the story follows Kade as he tries to remove the Dark Veil and the demon behind the darkness.



Kade: Sun of Perdition 1-4: Takes place 1000 years after the first series and is set during the Dark Ages. Kade, called "the Key to the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Chain to the Abyss of Hell", has to face his demon nemesis once again.



Kade: Shiva's Sun 0: This is the third series and takes place 50 years after Sun of Perdition, set in India's Golden Age
