Description

The Freedom Force mini-series is an adaptation of the story that originally played out in the computer game. Lord Dominion, sinister alien conquer of worlds, has his sights set on earth ? the only planet that stands in his way of complete galactic domination. To serve his ends, Lord Dominion orders that the most ruthless and sinister of Earth?s inhabitants be exposed to the power enhancing Energy X.



Hearing of these plans, a resistance fighter known as The Mentor seizes the ship carrying the Energy X with the intent of strengthening Earth?s champions for the coming fight. But as the ship enters Earth?s atmosphere it explodes, raining Energy X all over Patriot City ? resulting in the genesis of great heroes like The Minuteman and El Diablo and nefarious villains like Pinstripe and Nuclear Winter. The Freedom Force universe is born.



Besides alien invaders, these soldiers of the Silver Age must turn back a tidal wave of evil including Communist hordes, giant robots, clone armies, deleterious demigods and cosmic-powered criminals that plague the citizens of Patriot City, USA.
