This book deals with a small man who writes a column for a magazine titled "the miniature mechanic."  He lives an unassuming life in an out of the way town and is shocked to find out how famous he is...

His neice's  inheritance is threatened by the illegal trick used by her parents in order to smuggle wealth out of GB...when thier boat sinks killing them both.

 

In short, this little man is the only one who can go on an around the world adventure to recover his neices nest egg.

As he meets several carachters in the story, he begins to see just how much influence he has had on the world with his writings. He finds help at every turn from his fans...without whom, he would not be able to recover the money.

 

This book is a little slow to get going but by side four, you are hooked in a big way.

Frank Muller, the narrator is at his best.

Remember, "corn fritters is good chow"! 

 

One of his last works, published a few years after his death.

 

This audiobook was narrated by Frank Muller.

A little over 13 hours long unabridged.
